40-Hour Domestic Violence Counselor Training

Completion of this training meets the requirements set by California Evidence Code 1037.1 for designation as a Domestic Violence Counselor.

Training Completion enables the individual to pursue volunteer and employment opportunities working directly with survivors of domestic violence in California.

Presentations Offered in Partnership with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office – Crime Prevention Unit

Teen Dating Violence. Educates youth on domestic violence warning signs, domestic violence legal consequences, and ways to engage in healthy relationships.

Bullying. Provides youth with a clear understanding of what bullying and cyberbullying are, how what they post or do online can affect their future, and what the potential consequences are for bullying-related behavior.

Parent Power. Teaches parents of rebellious and defiant children how to keep their kids away from destructive behaviors and how to develop strong and positive relationships with their children while implementing effective and healthy discipline strategies that do not involve corporal punishment.
